Morris Register Club Run – Sunday April 6th Visit South Melbourne Market and the circa 1855 Portable Iron Houses Location: South Melbourne Market – 322-326 Coventry Street, South Melbourne Portable Iron Houses – 399 Coventry Street, South Melbourne Time: from 10:00am at the South Melb. Market from 1:00pm at the Portable Iron Houses Parking: Park near the Market or Iron Houses at 10:00am There is street and roof top parking at the Market but fees may apply. There is all day free parking out front of the Iron Houses but limited spaces. Itinerary: Spend time at the Market from 10:00 am and have Lunch at one of the many food shops. An alternative venue for lunch is O‘Connell‘s Hotel next to the Iron houses. Meet at Iron Houses at 1:00pm and explore the Houses until 4:00pm. Iron Houses Admission Prices: Adult: $10, Concession: $7, Child: $5, Family: $22 (2A + 2C), National Trust Members receive FREE entry. The VSCC‘s annual Gymkhana held at Newstead Racecourse (not far from Castlemaine). A great opportunity to exercise your car around witches hats on an open paddock. An ideal way to introduce younger members to the thrills of vintage motoring. Camping facilities available. Saturday 12th - The Newstead Cup run - 9.30am at the racecourse.
